Inspiring Your Company towards Altruism

May 5, 2016 Joe Mechlinski

Winston Churchill once said: “We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.”

Every day of the year, entreQuest is committed to maximizing the living that our clients make for themselves. After all, in the free market, increasing revenue is our biggest indicator for measuring their success in sales and our success in strategy. Thankfully with our partners, we at eQ have been very fortunate to make more than decent livings with all that we get from these client experiences.

But on April 1st, we shut down our business completely to put the second half of Mr. Churchill’s statement into action. As a team, we gave back to the community. Low and behold, the old English legend was proved right yet again. Giving is the way to make a life.

Read more about our April activity in this month’s entreQuest newsletter available at this link: http://click.po155.com/Preview.aspx?EmailId=11&AccountID=3087&ViewMode=HTML.

Note that we’ve also included some information in our newsletter about how your business can make more than a living by giving. Instituted as a community-wide corporate challenge, the France-Merrick Foundation has pledged to donate $100,000 to Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Maryland Mentoring Partnership when 100 companies donate $1000 or more in the year 2011. We hope you’ll join entreQuest in propelling France-Merrick towards achieving its altruistic aspiration.

And as always, there are many other means to make your mission more impactful in your community. Talk to us to find out how giving back not only makes a difference in the world, but also makes a difference for your company’s two greatest assets – your people and your clients. Of course that's all on top of the one guaranteed by Mr. Churchill – the difference made in how you make your life.
