Top 10 Most Powerful TED Talks on Engaging Your Workplace

Written by Joe Mechlinski | August 22, 2016

“Learning is remembering what you are interested in.” -Richard Saul Wurman, Creator of the TED Conference

Having had the chance to spend the day with Richard Saul Wurman, the quote above is one that I won’t easily forget. During our meeting - joined by my good friend, Yanik Silver - we were hanging onto Richard’s every word and trying to capture as much as possible. Noticing our efforts, he kindly but firmly urged us to stop writing, saying, “You’ll remember the pieces that interest you.”

This notion led to the inception of the TED Conference (and events), which has become an influential source of ideas and inspiration for the world. TED Talks captivate audiences nation-wide because they hone in on human interest.

At SHIFT, we’re interested in – more accurately, fascinated with – the workplace.
